Quite the Harvest

Something like a year ago I came across a sort of base-building RTS/Tower Defense hybrid of a game called Harvest: Massive Encounter.  It has the most fantastic art and front end design; 2D 50’s flying saucers, big spider robots, and a 3D planet select screen with the spookiest radio transmission sounds and music I’ve ever heard.  

If it sounds strange it’s because it’s a wholly original indie game, and it seems that Valve thought it was quirky enough to put on Steam.
