Nerd Corps is hiring…

In keeping with our focus on attracting and retaining high level production talent, Nerd Corps’ goal is to produce high calibre, creatively diverse projects that will fully utilize the skill sets of our talented crew, challenging them to grow as professionals and artists. The greatest asset of any company is its people, and at Nerd Corps this philosophy forms the cornerstone of our vision for the future.

We are currently in production on two 3-D animated series. The first is 52 episodes of action/comedy Storm Hawks, airing in more than 50 countries around the world, including YTV in Canada and Cartoon Network in the US, UK, France and Latin America. The second is the 26 episode high-definition comedy series The League of Super Evil (L.O.S.E.), slated to launch in the fall of 2009 on YTV in Canada, CBBC in the U.K. and Canal J and Canal Plus in France. In keeping with our philosophy, these projects enable our employees to push the boundaries of CG animation and create a long overdue “fresh look” for this medium in the television production environment.

To maintain and expand the company’s reputation as a premier developer of original intellectual property, Nerd Corps is branching out with a new interactive division, starting with an expansive online companion site for L.O.S.E. Launching in tandem with the series, the site will be anchored by a massively multi-player online trading card game.

Located in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia , Canada , Nerd Corps offers its employees the opportunity to experience the diversity and culture of one of the world’s most vibrant cities. The studio is situated within a 30 minute drive of three ski hills, several pristine beaches and countless hiking and mountain biking trails with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal mountain range.
