I think my single favorite multiplayer game is Warlords.

It was an old atari game that basically works as four person pong, with each person taking a corner and having a fort to defend instead of a net.  (The difference being a fort can sustain extensive damage.)

Anyhow, according to the good folks at Kotaku XBLA will be getting it this wednesday.

Can I get a Hell Yeah!?!!?!

So Atari’s publishing this? If so then that is good news since they do work on their games and they keep the price points really low. Other’s should really follow suite aswell.

It’s amazing how people want to over charge for their games these days. I think alot of people are having trouble adjusting to the world post internet/pirating/free-to-play/online distribution. Regardless this game RULES!

Thats true, the most recent example might be the Penny Arcade game, sure it’s good, but is it really worth the $20 or so price tag? The developers of that game have just opened a door way, the door way will allow a flood of crappy games to reach the marketplace for a price tag above $10.

Remember when games that were updated ports of arcade games, or even brand new game’s only cost $5? Then eventually some of the newer concept games came out with a $10 price tag, eventually a majority of released titles were coming out at that price, leaving very few at a $5 price tag.
